When it comes tom marketing your business online, it is important to remember that  a marketing strategy needs to be in place before you begin.  One of the biggest mistakes small business owners make is not laying out a marketing plan or strategy and instead just throwing their advertising dollars at any old thing (e.g. Newspapers and Yellow Pages.).  Why? Because that’s what worked in the past.  What I tell my workshop attendees is, “What got you here, will not get you there. It takes new tools, techniques and tactics to move your business to the next level.”

What the online landscape offers is a chance for even the smallest of businesses to now have the ability to use tools that were only available to the Madison Avenue crowd.  The Playing field has been leveled, so to speak, opening up the market to every business owner giving you the ability to deploy Traditional Marketing methods in more of a Guerrilla Marketing manner.
